Inspection and Report
A practitioner from Anderson Home Inspectors will survey your property to establish that the property is suitable for occupation by additional persons. It is a visual inspection and takes into account such things as the general state of repair, rooms sizes, the level and condition of kitchen and bathroom facilities, heating and ventilation in the house etc.
A 7 page bound professional housing report will then be produced by a qualified Environmental Health Practitioner, the report normally states three key conclusions:
- Has sufficient space to accommodate both the current occupiers and any additional people who propose to live there.
- Is free from Category 1 and 2 Hazards under the Housing Act 2004,
- Is in reasonable state of repair,
